As a classic wedge system, it combines a heavy-duty steel structure, reliable hydraulic technology, and solid foundation integration into a durable solution for controlled access points with elevated security requirements.

The hydraulic road blocker reaches its blocking position within seconds and is designed for intensive use in continuous operation. Energy absorption is achieved through a heavy-duty structure with a conventional foundation design to ensure safe force dissipation.
It is suitable for projects with clearly defined protection requirements where robust engineering, proven design, and cost-efficient implementation are key priorities.

The Wedge I is designed for access points where certified vehicle restraint in accordance with PAS 68 and DoS (K12 / L3) is required. As a hydraulic road blocker, it is suitable for projects with a clearly defined security level and a conventional foundation design to ensure reliable dissipation of impact forces.
It is primarily deployed at sensitive access points requiring a high level of protection against heavy vehicle attacks, such as government facilities, energy sites, or military installations.
K12 / L3 is a DoS classification for crash-tested road blockers and denotes the successful stopping of a 7.5-ton vehicle at 80 km/h. The Wedge I meets this performance level in accordance with DoS SD-STD-02.01 L3.
The standard lifting time is approximately 3.5 seconds. With the optional Emergency Fast Operation (EFO), full deployment can occur in approximately 1 second.
The Wedge I requires approximately 400 mm installation depth. For locations with reduced foundation availability, the shallow-mount Wedge II is recommended.
