The CityProtector is a high-security solution for urban environments, combining certified vehicle restraint in accordance with PAS 68 and IWA 14-1 with seamless architectural integration. It is available in protection classes M40 and M50, covering different threat levels in public spaces.
Thanks to its shallow foundation depth, the CityProtector is particularly suited for inner-city areas with complex underground infrastructure or structural constraints. Complementary plate and modular elements such as seating surfaces, tables, bicycle racks, or bench modules enable functional and aesthetic integration into urban design concepts.
The CityProtector is deployed wherever public spaces must be protected against vehicle attacks without visually dominating the urban landscape. Typical applications include city centers, pedestrian zones, event areas, and representative public squares.
The selection between M40 and M50 is based on a project-specific threat assessment. Both variants offer identical design flexibility and the same reduced foundation requirements, but differ in their certified impact energy performance.
The shallow installation depth facilitates implementation in areas with existing underground infrastructure. As a fixed system, the CityProtector can be functionally enhanced through modular additions – such as integrated benches, bicycle racks, table modules, or plantable elements for structured space delineation.

The system requires a foundation depth of only approx. 220 mm, making it one of the shallowest certified impact protection systems available – ideal for pipes or structural restrictions.
Yes. The modular design allows installation without heavy civil engineering works and supports temporary deployment for events or seasonal applications.

For purely security-driven projects without a design focus, the M30 or M50 bollards are recommended – available in fixed or automatically retractable versions with the corresponding standards-based certification.
